How FPL bonus points work
In every Premier League match, each player earns Bonus Points System (BPS) points for what they do on the ball: goals, assists, clean sheets, saves, key passes, tackles and recoveries add to it; conceding goals, cards and errors take away. After the match, the three players with the highest BPS get 3, 2 and 1 bonus points in FPL.
Ties share the bonus: two players tied for the top BPS both get 3 and the next player gets 1; a tie for second gives both players 2 and nobody gets 1; a tie for third gives everyone tied 1. Until FPL confirms bonus, usually an hour or two after the last match of the day, the numbers here are provisional — worked out from live BPS exactly the way FPL allocates them.
